Registration Information

Foreign national participants (this includes holders of green cards) must register by 23 February 2018. We ask that U.S. citizens please register by 23 March 2018.

Please be aware that the maximum capacity in our main conference room is 110 people. We are not able to go above this number so please register early.

Registration fees are waived for students and post-docs as is the cost of dinner at Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse (see AGENDA tab).


* The registration covers the continental breakfast each of the three mornings (including registration morning, 25 April), all coffee/snack breaks, and lunches each day. The registration fee for all other participants is $120 plus, if desired, $35 for the dinner at Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse (and $35 for any guest). We do hope you will be able to attend the banquet, as it has proved to be both enjoyable and memorable and the Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse is a wonderful place to dine. We ask that you make every attempt to pay your registration and banquet fees prior to the workshop. We have provisions to accept credit cards if it is not possible for your institution to make payment via check. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Master Card, and Discover. Checks should be made payable to the University of Rochester.

All foreign national attendees must be processed in the U.S. Department of Energy Foreign National Visit and Assignment database. We must have 60 days in which to process your visit request.


Banquet Information


This year our banquet will be held at Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse located at 125 White Spruce Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14623. The banquet will begin at 7:00 PM. There will be a no host bar and drinks will be paid by each individual participant during the meal. We will have a fixed banquet menu. Menu choices are listed below:


All meals will include a House Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and Coffee, Soda, or Hot Tea.


Entree choices will be:


Chicken Riggies: Rigatoni Pasta, Mushrooms, Bell Peppers, Onions, Olives, Hot Cherry Peppers and Chicken in Delmonico's Special Light Sauce

Sirloin Slices: 15 oz. of Marinated Certified Angus Sirloin in a light Cabernet wine sauce with Button Mushrooms and Homemade Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Haddock Bella Vista: 12 oz. of Haddock broiled in a Garlic Butter Sauce with Marinated Peppers and Onions served with Angel Hair Pasta

Ravioli: Choice of Marinara Sauce or Spicy Vodka Sauce

Tortellini Aglio Olio: Tortellini, Broccoli, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Hot Cherry Peppers tossed in a Garlic and Olive Oil Butter Sauce

Pasta with Meatballs or Sausage: Choice of Linguini, Penne, Angel Hair, Rigatoni, or Fettuccini with Marinara Sauce


Dessert choices will be:


Amaretto Cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce homemade with a graham cracker crust

Cappuccino Ice Cream Pie homemade with toasted walnuts in a chocolate cookie crust, topped with whipped cream

Tartufo: vanilla and chocolate ice cream with nuts and cherries coated with chocolate

Tiramisu: creamy Italian custart layred over lady fingers soaked in espresso

Homemade Cannoli: cream filled Italian pastry with a hint of Grand Marnier
